Domainz

This evening I was doing a little research on domain names. I was looking into the possible availability of names that may be of use to me. For the record www.adammcconnell.com is in fact available. Maybe I should make a move on that. Seriously, think about what would have happened if your name was Michael Bolton, Justin Timberlake or Doogie Howser. If you happened to share a name with one of these celebrities and you already had the domain, you'd totally be in the driver's seat for negotiations.
During my searches I also noticed that if it ain't sizzlin' it ain't sellin'. For example www.iloveinsurance.com is taken and so is www.ihateinsurance.com, but www.insuranceisaverage.com is in fact available. So, in conclusion, if you want to claim a domain then just settle for something in the middle. I mean isn't that how we really feel anyway?

Leprechaun in Mobile, Alabama

My Blog mentor taught me how to post videos from You Tube on Ammo Nation. This has to be my all time favorite video. I love the Leprechaun. Where the gold at? Holla'

Really Hot Soup!

Hey Neil. I was thinking. Who has ever heard of You Tube? So I thought I'd help you out and post your video on my blog so that you and Sheena can get some real exposure. All in a days work for a good friend.

Snuggles the Hot Dog

Hey-ya and good evening everyone! I am ecstatic about a new product that I discovered at the local supermarket. Not since the creation of pickle relish has the hot dog industry been this forward thinking. The progress comes thanks to not Oscar Meyer but to Toufayan Bakeries, a PITA BAKERY! The good people at Toufayan have alas created the Snuggle which in effect a plush pita shell that is essentially a hot dog holding, open ended canoe. There is no seam in it's construction like the traditional hot dog bun. There is no messy joint to break and let the sweet condiments seep through. No, no my friend, this is the real deal. Single bodied construction down the entire length of the bun! Some of you may have tried to wrap a hot dog in a tortilla cloak but what those Hispanic Hot Dog Aficionados have neglected is the proper bun texture that your average red-blooded American HDL (hot dog lover) has grown to love. Texture, taste, and flawless construction make Toufayan's Snuggles the creme de la creme in hot dog holders! Check 'em out at http://www.toufayan.com/snug.htm. A big hot dog Holla' to you all and to all a good night.

Self-Control

Right now I am learning and practicing self control more than I ever have in all of my life. My mind goes wild with all of these things that I want to do and telling me to go for it. The problem is that it tells me to go for everything. That can be trouble because there is no way possible to go for everything. It's a lesson in balance and weighing options. The trouble with so many ideas and options is that you have to spend a good amount of time filtering out which are good and which are not. Then the ones that get through the original screen must be reviewed more thoroughly to determine true plausability. This takes time. It can take a lot of time. This is where self control comes in. I have developed a plan of action that I will take and I must constantly remind myself to be patient and that my plan will work. It can be difficult to believe this when my mind is firing all of these other opportunities. This has been a struggle for me because I have a fairly wide skillset and have pretty decent resources. What are you going to do? What am I going to do? I guess I will exercise self-control and be confident in my plans and work for the rewards that I can achieve. If you aim for everthing you will hit nothing. Right? Thanks for listening to my ramblings. Have a great January. I'm not blogging too much these days, but I will most definately be around. Be good. Alright? Holla'

Visitor Tradition

I once thought that I was going to take a photo of every visitor to my home in front of a the framed Texas flag that I had proudly hung in my apartment. This particular flag flew over the Texas State Capitol on my 20th birthday. The framed version was originally hung in Somerset Heights in Atlanta, Georgia. It made the moves around Atlanta and even found a home in Chattanooga for a spell. Now it is back in its home state, back in Texas. The flag in the picture is my friend Ian and was taken in Chattanooga. He is the only one person I have recorded in this format. After my ambitions of documenting all of my visitors I have one, one lowly visitor. Come to think of it Ian may have been the only visitor I ever had at my home in Chatt-town. Well, there were a few more, but not too many. In a effort to practice my new blog skillz please click on the embedded link to find out a little more about the Lone Star State. Texas Info that you may or may not know.
